How can private insurance get away with what they do?

i got hurt at work !
cant get help any where
i talk to 9 different lawyers no one will stand up to private insurance one lawyer even told me he would be better off giving me 500.$ im hurt losing everything i worked so hard for
its truely a cold uncaring world when you are down im a cna in nursing home now hurt cant even get un employment

With the Capitalist society we have now, giving corporations exactly what they want instead of what we want, they can probably do that. It's wrong as hell, but that's what happens when corporations have free reign.

This is another reason I'm for Universal Health Care. With that, you can get the help you need when you need it. You don't have to pre-approve anything. You barely have to pay anything. All you do is pay your taxes.


UHC is better than the crap work of Capitalism we have now...

Speak to your state insurance board, were you covered by Workman's comp? Check it since an employer can tell you you aren't covered but you really are.
As to how they do it....this is the reality behind all those people who rant about trial lawyers 'getting' the insurance companies. Insurance companies are running and ruining this country. They are the biggest financial supporters for both parties.
Look into getting disability from social security, also contact your social services department they can tell you where to go to get some help in living until the disability comes through, don't delay, these things can take months.
