Are there Private nursing homes in the Philippines?

Is there a place within Metro Manila area willing to get paid to care for very sick elderly lady?

there are private nursing homes in the philippines but are mostly run by catholic religious or other non-governmental agencies mostly for charity cases. the concept of placing your elders in private nursing homes in the philippines is considered taboo. most interns with private nursing homes are those with no family to take care of them. the family is the basic support and insurance system of the philippines. home care is another option wherein you hire a caregiver to take care of your elderly in the privacy of your own home.

i think so, nursing home for the pinoy is not that essential as in the usa, because we pinoys loved our elderly parents, even we get married and kids , we still have our parents lived with us, not with western culture,

i think there is.. i saw an add in this local amateur site.. it says a retirement home for locals and foriengners.. im not sure where it was... just scroll the site page by page... check out the adds, it may be still there...

Yes there are some Nursing Home in the Philippines that care for the old folks. There are some organizations who do it but I think its really rare to find one. If you can find one it is run by a private organization or religious group.
