Can a excon become a RN nurse in nyc? |
Can a excon become a RN nurse in nyc? Look online at the state board of nursing website for NY. In Indiana we have to answer a set of questions before we take the NCLEX exam (state boards) Many of them pertain to convictions of felonies and misdemeanors. I know that if anyone had to check "Yes" that they had a conviction on the record. They would have to write down the whole incident and get a notary public to sign it. Then the state board would make a decision based on that info....Like I said before, that is in the state of Indiana. Sure, why not. If you get into school do it if you want. Everywhere is hurting for more nurses, someone will hire you!! |
