How much do entry level nurse (RN) make?

How much do average RN make if you just graduate? How old do most nurse retire? Do most nurse get work-related injuries? Do nurse get any benefit after they retire?

How much you earn depends on where you are? Im in NSW Australia and nurses are paid different rates depending on the state they are in. Also if you work in Aged Care you get less.

Retirement age depends on the individual.

I can speak for most nurses as I dont know all of them. I have a friend though who has a work related injury she can't work as a nurse now. I have had work related injuries during the course of my nursing.

NO BENEFITS during or after retirement. That p.i.s.s.e.s me off!!

Depends on where you live. Usually RN makes $25-35. Yes most nurse do get work related injuries. They can get back pain if they have to lift etc. Yes they get benefit after they retire. retirement benefit

In US, the starting pay is about USD$25k, for more experienced and specialized ones can go to USD$50k or more. Most nurses love their jobs and retire at about 55 or 60 depending on their health and energy levels. Most common work related injury is Back pain and Deep Vein Thrombosis as they carry heavy stuff and stand or walk too much in the wards or clinics or operating theatre. Yes, they get some form of retirement benefits. Hope the info helps.
