Which of these career do feel would take less out of you? |
Pharmacy tech, nurse, radiology technician, is there any career where you won't feel like you are giving a lot of yourself, esp. to the patient? Right now I am doing private security which does not make to much money but allows for sleeping on the job. I am thinking that as a nurse you would be like a servant to the patient and I basically would not like that. Anyone who cannot love a job will feel he is giving too much of time to it. If you do not want to deal with patient's needs, maybe you should consider a field other than healthcare. I don't mean that to sound rude. Pharm tech is not a career. Rad tech is easier than nursing. If you dont want to work hard dont even think of nursing. You should probably stay out of healthcare. I do agree that the medical field is not the best field to go into if you don't want to deal with attending to the needs of others. I would say that pharmacy tech would require the least contact with others because you don't have to go through the process of asking patients about their symptoms...unlike nursing... |
