Job in the medical field with no experience......?

How can I get a job in a hospital with no medical experience? I'm at the end of taking my pre-reqs for the registered nursing program, but I'd like to start working in a hospital while I wait to be accepted to a nursing program. Is it even possible?? I live in the DFW area, if that matters at all.

My only suggestions are:
- volunteer. You won't get any hands-on patient care, but you will get some experience.
- you could go through the Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant program. These can normally be done within 4-6 weeks and I know the agency I work for in NJ will pay you while you are training.
- in the physical therapy field you can work as an aide without being licensed or going through specialized training. I am unsure if other fields have similar positions.

You could probably get a job cleaning bed pans. That's medical! M-m-m-m-m, poopey..

pharmacy technicians, some dont require a license, but having a license boosts ur chances of getting a job

if you are in the school for nursing, you might work as a CNA in the hospital.check with the hospitals, or their clinical directors.

if your working on your nursing degree and certification, many hospital have cna's and lpn's who are working on nursing degree's. its done all the time.
