Senior Living Center? |
I was talking on the phone today with someone that works at a assisted living center and I asked if thy have medical personnal (rgistered nurses)there. He told me they do, but I asked him if someone were to go in to full arrest there what could they do. He told me that all they would do was call 911, I think that this is completely wrong. You have registered nurses on site, with a patient in full arrest, and you are just gonna call 911? No CPR or the use of an AED? Please tell me your opinions on this. I use to work at a facility for the seniors and its difficult because no one comes to see them only to pick up the money and they still give it to them but i think they should be more careful with them because they are so sensible i think they should be someone on site you should investigate to see what you can do i think its nice that you care about people not just your self |
