Pull out method...I know...AGAIN haha?

I am a Registered Nurse, but I deal with geriatrics, not OB-GYN. I finished my period on the 1st of december...Used the good ol' pull-out method on the 3rd, not once, not twice, but three times...Are my odds of getting pregnant very good? i'm very fertile, and had absolutely no problem getting pregnant with my 2 children, both conceived on the first attempt at sexual intercourse. I'm not trying to get pregnant again, and this has put the fear of god into me...won't ever happen again, I swear...just need some thoughts. Thanks...sorry i had to brind up the pull-out method yet again.

As I said, I deal with the elderly, i've never seen any of them pregnant...not a one...not looking for rude comments, just looking for others thoughts, I know it's A GREAT POSSIBILITY, but i wanted to see if others have experienced this....i've NEVER planned a pregnancy...and quite frankly wouldn't even know where to begin!

goodness, it really doesn't take much to become an RN, huh?

Very possible..even he pulls out, precum can cause babies!

where do you work so I can make sure me and my family members don't get you as a nurse.

Well..thats wat me and my bf always did and now Im 39 weeks pregnant lol. So ya If they "do thier buisness" close to ur opening then u can get pregnant and also pre-*** can get you pregnant too.

its possible to get pregnant using pull out method. Try some birth control or condoms.

LOL, I think you know the answer... there is always a chance. But since it was so close to your period you are probably fine.
Ahhhhh, it's a little refreshing for someone else to see the humor in their situation.
Good luck!

Considering sperm can live in the vagina for up to 5 days, and women usually ovulate about two weeks after, it could be entering a moderately risky period. Not the highest risk, but definately not the lowest, either.

its ok about bring the pull out method up again. well there is a chance you can be pregnant, i'd just wait till your next period comes and if it don't then go and take a test to see if your pregnant. either way its safe to be sure, good luck and i hope everything goes fine.

hmm.. where did you get your degree?
did it come in a box of lucky charms?
not to be totally rude, but you should know this stuff.

Yes, your odds are pretty good of getting pregnant. Mine's due on Wednesday.

This is how I got pregnant with my third...one timer that month...pulled out...we weren't really trying to prevent anything, but it was still a surprise!

haha, this is a joke right? i sure hope so, if not, i feel sorry for any patient that sees you.. im not a nurse, not even close to one, and i know this...

ovulation occurred s on about The 14 to 16Th day,and considering that sperm can live for up to 3 days.....lets see you had sex on the 4 or 5th day,add 3 that's 8........so you stand a fair chance of not getting pregnant. If you are it will be more likely to be a girl since the sperm that make boys swim faster but die earl yer.

Yes my husband and i used the "pull out" method and I ended up pregnant when my son was only 5 months!!!!!!!!!!Also was dumb and used pull out method with my third baby!!!!!!!!!!
I now have a 4, 5 and 6 year old!!!!!!!!!Pulling out doenst work!!!!!

Good Luck!

Well i hate to laugh but you better start prayng that is why Irish Catholic family were so large they depended on the"Pull out" method as birth control, but don't panic just yet , get a home pregnancy test and find out what is up and please don't act like a teenager again protect yourself always it only takes one time dear and you should know that.

Go get the morning after pill right now just to be sure! :)
