Nursing to medicine?

i lo?e to do medicine. i found out that it is possible to switch from nursing to medicine. i am a registered nurse in singapore and looking upon opportunities to do medicine in aus. i need to get it right the first plan because this is gonna be a long time commitment. is this possible? who can i approach for ad?ice?? and wat are the requirements to qualify?

You have a long road ahead of you. You'll have to get a pre-med undergraduate degree and then apply to med school. At either of these steps you may be denied. For advice, approach doctors who previously were in nursing. I'm not sure about requirements as what you are trying to do is very unorthodox.

I don't know about Aus but I read at a university web site that med schools don't like to accept nurses or any one else from that sort of profession because of 2 reasons..
1) your already set in your ways
2) I forgot lol

anyway not going to lose anything if you try... you have to get an undergrad degree, then take MCATS, apply to med school, if they accept you hurry for you..... best of wishes Good Luck
