Hi everyone, just wondering what's the best way to become a labor and delivery nurse?

I woud greatly appreciate any feedback from registered L&D nurses. Thanks!

You have to go through the nursing program and after you have completed that you just choose to specialize in the L&D area instead of other areas like the ER.
good luck

first u need the grades

Become a RN first and then work med/surg floor for 2 years and go from there. Good luck;)

Outsider is right. My mom is an RN on Med/surg and just got promoted to l&d. Med/surg is ideal becasue it is a good mix of all aspects of nursing.
