the qualifications huny....

about 20k p.a

a nurse is medically trained and a care worker helps unable people and a support worker supports those that need supervision in their day to day lives

about 拢60,000 a year

My daughter is a care worker and I wouldn't want her to do anything medical to me, she cleans the sh*t off the elderly in a nursing home. A practise nurse is a nurse that has done extended training on specific things.

A qualified nurse has undergone extensive education and training over at least a three year period - usually to degree level and a support worker is a person who does as the nurse tells her and requires no formal education - they are usually only paid minimum wage, but can be taught menial tasks such as weighing people, cleaning them up and recording blood pressures.
