What is the diference between a registered practioner and a care and support worker?? |
This is a long shot but no one else knows...can someone please tell me when i say a registered Practioner i mean a nurse. I am looking for a more in detail answers.......i know about qualifications and salary...just everything else i need to compare them...its for college that i am doing this for and i don't know what else to write. the qualifications huny.... about 20k p.a a nurse is medically trained and a care worker helps unable people and a support worker supports those that need supervision in their day to day lives about 拢60,000 a year My daughter is a care worker and I wouldn't want her to do anything medical to me, she cleans the sh*t off the elderly in a nursing home. A practise nurse is a nurse that has done extended training on specific things. A qualified nurse has undergone extensive education and training over at least a three year period - usually to degree level and a support worker is a person who does as the nurse tells her and requires no formal education - they are usually only paid minimum wage, but can be taught menial tasks such as weighing people, cleaning them up and recording blood pressures. |

Write to the US Embassy in your country and ask them the best way to approach this. ...What you might want to do is contact that states Board of Nursing and speak with someone that can lead you in the right direction... Different states have different requirements, as I'm sure ... I agree on some aspect of that however I didn't go into nursing for the money. ...Currently one may become a Registered Nurse by either an two year Associates Degree or a 4 year BSN. If you already have an AD, then check out colleges in your area that offer a BSN, since you'... |
