Prolonged spotting everyday since april 9th?????woman or registered nurses only please?

I was recently diagnosed with PCOS in April.
I had my period April 3rd to april 8th, after stopping my period, i started spotting right away (brownish/dark brown) the spotting was every single day and the last couple of days the spotting started turning a little pink with some red, well i finally started bleeding today ( june 22nd) Though at the moment i'm not sure whether it's my period or extremely heavy spotting, it's now dark/bright red..The reason why i say i'm not sure if it's my period or spotting is because my last two cycles have been very wierd. I will leak alot of blood, then think it's my period but it's gone, within a couple hours back to just brown spotting...
My periods were not always like this, only my last 2-3 cycles. I have NEVER spotted for three months straight though, this is the first time it has ever happened and i'm very confused....
Anybody know what this might be, why i am experiencing this prolonged spotting for three months straight???

am married and my husband and i have been trying to conceive with no luck unfortunately..
I do have PCOS though i have no signs other that the irregular cycles, i do not experience weight problems(i'm 108lbs), nor do i have facial or body hair, or any cysts on my uterus...
My doctor has said i have alot of follicles ( i am seeing an infertility specialist)..
I don't know if that helps any...lol..

I have always had irregular periods I finally got tired of them after 20 years and went to a homeopathic doctor. (chiropractic) Doctor) she and I did a hormone spit test and the results were excessively high estrogen and extremely low progesterone. You may have hormone problems. I would try this. and if a doctor tells you it may change after you have kids. they lie. I have three children and 4 pregnancies. my periods stayed the same. even after my 2 miscarriages.
