What is the average starting salary for Registered nurses? Starting bonus?

Is there anyone who does traveling nursing? What is your pay range. I'd like to get an idea as to yearly & hourly? And where do you work for this pay?

I'm just starting my LPN in the falll and then I will go on to get my RN the following year. I would like to hear from RN's working in different places. I've done some research, but I'd like to hear from "the horse's mouth" or so to speak.

To be a travel nurse, you need to have at least 1-2 (or more) years experience working in acute care. Starting salary for new grads is around $25/hr. Travel nurses make quite a bit more - $35-$45 per hour or more. When you travel, they pay travel expenses, give you a housing allowance, etc. Typical contracts are for anywhere from 6-16 weeks.

hi,i just need to know, are you already an RN or in or fresh out of college, anyway so far im planning on becoming an RN once im out of high school, cept im 2 weeks away from starting high school.Anyway, the starting salary is anywhere from 22-25 dollars an hour and may increase over time.on average RNs in the US make 50,000 a year and in some cases may be alot more sometimes as much as 65,000 i think the states that pay the most for RNs are texas and california where the salary is up to 28 dollars and hour,i dont know if thats over a period of some years. But it is a good job and right know its something im intrsted in.Anyway that is my knowledge of the salary for RNs(ive done some research on it)Good Luck
