Can you be a register nurse with BS in nursing? 10 points. Thank you? |
Or do you have to take an exam to get a license? Not all social work jobs require a license. If she has an MSW from the US she will certainly be able to find a job. Her background from Hong Kong will certainly open doors in any of the Asian American communities (especially SF and NYC in the Chinese community). You must pass a licensing exam before you are an R.N. New Jerseys right. You will also have to get extended training to become a nurse that can perform some of the duties of the doctors. Check with a web site for R.N. training. Even after you get your BS (or ADN), you still have to pass the board certification exams. You can't sit for the exams without having passed an NLN-certified training course in nursing. An MS in social work wouldn't qualify for nursing, of course. If you're asking two separate questions, I have to say I don't know anything about how social work jobs work here. |
