Immigration to Canada by British doctor and American nurse? |
My husband and I are toying with the idea of immigrating to Canada, but haven't formally investigated all that is needed yet. He is a British citizen, I am an American citizen, and our child will hold dual citizenship. I would suspect that we both would fall under skilled labour (he's a physician with +5 years experience, I am a registered nurse with +5 years experience), but we were wondering if my husband qualified for any sort of fast-track immigration treatment because he's British. Also, if anyone knows if he must pass Canadian medical boards, or if his British qualification is sufficient (incidently, he is also licensed to practice in the States). Thanks very much! you can find the answes to your question on these sites: Hi, |
