How much does a PART-TIME registed nurse earn? |
registered nurse = staff nurse They earn the same as full-time nurses when they are paid per hour. New grads in a hospital setting earn about $23-30 per hour to start. Great income if you went to school for least two year, but licenced vocational earned less than a registered nurse. Generally if you work part time you will make more hourly. Since employers generally don't give benefits to part time employees, the pay is better! Well, it can depend on where you live as some States pay higher than others. Most RN's are paid per hour, unless,of course, you are at an Administrative level, then usually the pay is salary/year. Most RN's typically can expect an hourly rate of $ 25.00 to $ 45.00/hour. As I said, it depends on the State and, of course, if you are experienced or new to the field. I hope that this helps. |
