Do registered nurses take people to the toilets and bathe sick people? |
Or is that job for the un-registered nurses? LOL..there are no "unregistered nurses"....u must be registered to become a nurse!..=p.. Registered nurses do all the dirty work and run their butts off. Believe it. thats the job for enrolled I do believe it happens from time to time There is no un-registered nurses. If you're a nurse that means you're an RN. Otherwise you're a candystriper or something. usaually its the role of C.N.A. "certified nursing assistant" in nursing homes, and other live in facilities.Registered nurses are usually working in hospitals and medical offices. its the aides job, and the rns too RN's do not usually do that kind of work. It is a CNA that does that most of the time. No they don't... however, nurses aides do complete those tasks. that is the benefit of a 4-year college education.... An LPN, is usually who does the grunt work. Or the patient care tech, or nurses aide. Usually the RN, is the lead of the shift, and is the one who administers the medications to patients. They are trained to do it all, so if needed they do what they have too. Not usually, they usually have someone like a unit assistant, ward clerk, or LPN do that kind of work. Not saying an RN will never do that kind of work, but that's usually a job for someone with lesser qualifications. That stuff is usually done by nurses assistants (CNA)Registered Nurses do more medical treatment etc, give meds, do charting, reports for Docs, etc Then you also have the LPNs (licensed practical nurse), they monitor vital signs, check patients temps, give enemas, catherize patients, change bandages etc |
