Can someone who is a carrier of TB still become a registered nurse?

Can a RN or someone becoming one who is a carrier of TB (Tuberculosis) be an RN or become one?

You can be whatever you want to be. However, it would be almost criminal to have a disease that contagious and take care of people who's immune systems are weak. You should probably wait until it is in remission. Good luck.

People who come into contact can test positive for TB and still not have the illness. You open yourself up to law suits if someone comes into the hospital without TB and goes home with it. I know I would find out how I contracted TB and take legal action.

Yes, in fact there are many RN's and other health care workers that have tested + for TB and are still working.
