I'm interested in being an RN (registered nurse) or a book keeper?

also wondering the salaries for both

Book keeper - accounting

RN - You take a specific Nursing program. Best to start at a community college. Check the college for prerequisite classes.

Go for the nurse. The US will be short 100,000 nurses by the year 2020. That will give you leverage to choose where you want to work and live and flexibility of schedule.

Nurses today who work in hospitals already have that. Nurses that specialize in hospital departments make no less than $60,000 annually and with overtime often clear 100k This can be done with just an Associates degree.

I start nursing school this month. It's a 2 year program, but I've spent the last two years taking prerequisites. The classes I've had to take are English comp 1 & 2, Microbiology, Anatomy & Phisiology 1 & 2, Intro to Physcology, Develepmental Pyschology, Sociology, Chemistry and Ethics. At least, that's what I can remember!

Some nursing programs are competitive, so keep your grades up, especially in your science classes. Your major would be nursing.

i was thinking about being a RN. i don't think it's that hard. there's a lot of people who are going into that field. ask me about it next time i see you.
