Is the test to be a registered nurse hard? |
Is the test to be a registered nurse hard? the test is difficult, but it has to be, you have a lot of responsibility with a RN . Anyway you will be asked anywhere from 75 to 265 questions and when the computer program is 95% certain that you are competent for entry level nursing or 95% certain that you are not competent it will shut off. I would say not to stress too much about the test, just remember to get to take the test you passed a very difficult program. not if you can apply a band aid !!! The NCLEX exam is difficult but if you have properly prepared you shouldn't have too much trouble. School was much harder than the NCLEX (and much longer). Study the HURST review and Kaplin books. YES! I had 75 questions and they were very hard. I did pass. I didn't think so but I was an older student and was at home studying when the younger students were out partying. I only had to answer the minimum amount of questions and was sure I failed because the computer shut off. All the questions are multiple choice and with the computer you can't think about a question and go back to it. I bought the box set of text questions and grilled myself over and over. There are even classes you can take to prepare yourself for the boards. Good Luck!!! |
