What does a Registered Nurse usually do? |
What kinds of jobs do they do the most? I am answering this question based on experience alone. There are many jobs that a registered nurse does. I am merely naming a few. My main job is to ensure patient safety. I help all pf my patients, whether it is via medication, advice, support, or just being there. Being a registered nurse is about the ability to have empathy toward another human being. Some of the jobs include, passing medications, dressing changes, placing IV lines, constant assessments, and monitoring and assessing every 15-30 min. It is something that you truly have to enjoy foing to understand, otherwise it can be dangerous. Meaning if a person is not doing it to help people but doing it for the money then it is not saafe for the patient. take blood change bed pans administer some injectionns ect DEAR MISS Jen Jen- left out one other thing being married to the job if working in a hospital and being thank by. you guessed it being under payed and not unappreciated. Granted that may have changed but thats what it was like for my aunt who was an RN for 35 yrs. |
