Should I become a registered nurse or a radiologic technologist?

What do you do in each of these two jobs? Which one is easier? Please give an explanation why I should choose one over the other.

RN is the way to go. Very flexible and great demand.
Rn listens and examines all of the above anatomical sites mentioned by RadioTech PLUS RNs do injections, IV fluids and oral medication administrations, assess patients' complaints and signs and symptoms, do treatment, nebulized...too many to list here. Just read in the newspaper or call HR dept of hospitals and compare how many nurses versus radiotech they are hiring.

registered nurse takes a lot longer

Only those who have done both can say which is easier, and even then it's subjective.

Give or take a few, this is what radiologic technologists do:

registered nurses are in higher demand presenting you with the upper hand in pay and hours. Id go with the RN ( you get more of a variation in work to so its not the same thing day after day)

...rn is in demand but it takes years to accomplish, it also pays more BUT the job is hard and demanding, a lot of responsibilities and burn out if one has no sense of time management, priority setting and great interpersonal skill, it is also very broad

if u are looking for an easier job become an rt
