What is the advantages of registered nurse to liscenced practical nurse?

LPN certification requires less schooling and is easier to obtain, but does not pay as well, nor does it give you the authority or responsibility that an RN has. LPN's work under RN's and spend more time dealing with patients than RN's as a rule.

Yes, an RN gets paid more money, but it comes at a price...they have to go to school longer, work more hours, and have a ton more responsibility. They also have to answer to nurse practitioners and doctors, basically doing all their donkey work.

That's the short answer.

More money

more $$$$

You will get paid more. You will also have more opportunities and longer career paths.
