Can a registered nurse make enough money to support herself?

like can she afford renting an apartment and get a nice car and buy herself neccesities

Oh, yeah! Consider this: I am making over $60k a year and that is only working three 12-hour shifts a week. That means I have four days off a week. Imagine if a nurse picks up an extra day or two a week. That's almost $100k a year! But, I LOVE my days off. That is all.

Of course. RNs are in demand and their pay reflects it.

Staff RNs working in the United States average a median base salary of $41,642.

Here an RN salary is 45,000 to start. Should be enough if you do not live over your means

A registered nurse, in many parts of this country, can afford to buy herself a house, a decent car, and support herself and children if necessary. It's a great career option.

definitely. the median salary for registered nurses is about 55k. from there you can get your masters and earn 70k+.

RN's are in demand and are highly paid.

ill support u come to queens wood haven jamaica ave. 86th st 87-38 ill protect u

My soon-to-be 18-year-old daughter recently completed a CNA class. She was asked to interview for a position at a local nursing home. She was hired. She gets $2 more per hour than I do at my job and I've been at this job for 6 years. Nursing is in high demand. Get all the training you can as you work!
