my girlfriend is a registered nurse in the phil. and she want to go to california and get a green card? how long it takes to get it?? and if he get it she can give a fiance visa???? actually, for california, she doesn't need the cgfns. all she needs is the nclex and the english exam (toefl). the problem though is that the US hasn't been giving out green cards through employment for more than a year now. people who have applied for about 3 years are still waiting for an approval... and since october of last year, no philippine nurse has ever left for the US. I am sorry, buy why does she not use her skills to better lives in her own country? First, she needs to pass the CGFNS (The Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools) examination and the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) examination. After she passes them both she needs to find a US employer who will sponsor her for a visa. |
