I want to be a pediatric nurse but I'm horrible at math...?

No, absolutely NOT. You can take remedial courses at a community college and get to the LPN level there. CCs are very accommodating in working with people like you, with GEDs, out of school for awhile, and with goals and aspirations!

Identify up to 3 CCs in your area, find out about their programs--they are generally very easy to apply to. You will need some English and math (at your level), biology and chemistry (or pre-chemistry).

You CAN do this--you just need to go at the right speed. I would start with 1-2 classes at MOST -- don't overdo it! Four classes may be your limit. Be sure to apply for financial aid to see if you qualify for something.
