Is it manditory for medical studets have to get tested for STD's? |
I know this girl who is studying to be a nurse and said they need to get checked out every year for any diseases, chicken pox, and STD's.... is this true? I'm not sure if she was referring to hepatitis alone. I asked her if she was tested for any STD's and she said she does every year. I'm concerned and would like to know if they get checked out for every single STD including HIV. i think that she is talking about hepatitis. and yes if this is what she is talking about. We are required to show proof of vaccination and there are certain standards that must be met to practice and maintain a liscence. Do you want someone with hepatitis checking you when you immune system is stressed? no. It is necessary to be hepatitis B immune.
