Can I wash my hair?

I have a cut in my hair from hair pins. Yesterday I attended the state fair and while leaving I noticed that I had a cut from which I assumed hair pins. I came home and showed my sister, who is studying to become a nurse and she told me that I had a fever in my head, which was making the neosporin melt on the scar.
I just want to know would it be safe to wash my hair?

The human head loses a lot of heat, that is just the way the body is built. Thus, if your scalp is warm, it is your body heat escaping. To acurately determine if you have a fever, please take your temperature using a thermometer.

It is a good idea to wash your hair, including the area that was cut, but please rinse well.

We get cuts and nicks, time will heal it.

I should be ok it is going to sting though

you can wash your hair but it will hurt

It should be fine, just go light on the shampoo. It will sting though, shampoo is, after all, mostly soap, so it's putting soap on an open wound.

Yes its safe to wash your hair. It'll sting and it'll sting even more if after you wash your hair you put some dettol or another disinfectant on the cut to help it heal.

of course not, if you have a cut why would u put some product on ur head?
