What would you report to the law enforcement officers? |
Studying to become a nurse Rape, murder, assault etc. Gunshot injuries, rape, vehicular accident related injuries, injuries consistent to child abuse and injuries consistent to assault/battery. If you're a nurse and a patient has been raped you don't call the law enforcement unless the woman once you too. Not all of them want to report it but you would report it the victim was a child. Also if you know a child is being abused you would report that. Due to Hippa regulations you are limited to information you can give to law enforcement however, some hospital agencies require you to report specific type injuries/incidents.//////// Nurses cannot diagnose. |
