Birthday prezzie for 25 yr old?

ok, my m8 is 25 soon, and i need ideas for a bday prezzie. we're both single mums on benefits (i.e. v. poor). she doesn't really have any hobbies cos her kids take up all her time, although she is about to start studying to be a nurse in sept. sensible ideas only please. thanx. we live in the UK

we have already planned to go out pubbing and clubbing that weekend.

I think the idea of hiring a sitter and taking her out is a great idea. But also if she is going to be starting studying, you might like to buy her a really nice pen set. I treated myself to a lovely fountain pen set just before I started back at college as a mature student and used it the whole way through!

just take her out for her lunch

A 25th is quite special, so it's best to give her a personalised gift.

Give her a night off from her kids. Find a babysitter pay her/him yourself, and then take her out to dinner and then go to something fun for the two of you. I.E movies, bowling, clubbing, shopping, hiking, swimming, golf, just something that will give you both a good time.

i would get her a nice pair of boots from new look.
she is going to need them now for the winter and i bet she is last on the list to get ready for winter...
ALSO she can wear them every day and think what a good mate you are....and feel good about herself

I would plan a really good girlie night out - ask mums to babysit kids and both of you get dolled out and have a fab night out letting your hair down and showing her what a great mate she is.

Or get her a lovely chain or some vouchers for a clothes shop or something but if she hasn't been out for a while due to having the kids she may appreciate a great night out where she can let hair down, have a boogie and get rat-arsed and not have to worry about the kids as they be well looked after all night with family member or a trusted friend!
