Anyone studying medicine out there?

i am currently doing my a levels and i need to find work experience in nursing homes and hospitals as i want to study medicine. ive been to some places but i get the same answer that i have to be over 18 to do it. anyone got any ideas where they might allow people like 16 or 17 year olds to get an experience and if so where near the london areas. that would be nery helpful as im really worried at the moment. thanks a lot!

I had the same problem myself when looking for medical work experience. But when i was 17 i got experience in a hospice and i also did some experience in a nursery as when i spoke to my tutor they said the i could as i was caring for the children so i could get away with that. Maybe you caould try ringing the hospices in your area
