(Woman), do you think dating a nurse is hard or wierd?

I am studying to be a nurse and I get a few woman whome I am dating, give me a nice but seconds after wierd look. Is it cause I deal with sick people all day or what?

I don't think that is the case cause women in general love a working man no matter what he does. Maybe its a way that you present yourself to them or maybe you are looking for more than they are willing to give right then and there. Whatever the case, it is definitely not the fact that you are a nurse.

never dating a nurse... If I did I would not think it was weird at all.

Little to do with benig a nurse and more to do with you being a queer.

My nephew-in-law is studying to be a surgical nurse. He said yes it was hard to date anyone - until he said he was studying to be a surgical nurse. Meaning that when he was a nurse, that wasn't manly, but when he was going into a specialty it was fine. My niece loves him for who he is - the type of work isn't important. And at least he has a job.

I've had nurses in my family for generations!
Nothing weird about them. Considering you're a guy and you're studying to become one, I think that any female that reacts with the 'he's weird' look has a closed mind and is caught up in stereo types.
But give them a chance to adjust to the idea of men doing something unusual, and prove that it definitely doesn't make you less of a man but a more caring one.
