Long distance relationship trust.?

Hi I have been on a LDR for alittle more than one year. My girlfriend is in NY studying for NCLEX nursing examination. So that she can get a working visa and live with me in Hawaii. Our relationship is very strong and loving. However, recently her examination is coming and it's summer time so she can have more time to go out. Well the problem is that we use to always call each other before we sleep, it is a 6 hour difference. However, lately she sometimes forget to call me before she sleeps and she don't answer my calls when I try to call her. She told me that she just fell asleep or she didn't want to bother me sometimes. I feel that she must know when to call me before she sleep. I feel that she is forgetting or my anxiety and depression make me think that she is hiding something from me. I even told her if she would cheat on me. And she said never, almost automatically. I don't know how to control my feelings, I need some guidance can someone help me with some LDR trust issues.

if she is cheating on you, you'll be able to tell for sure and no doubt about it. just stay calm, trust her, and dont worry about it. sometimes people DO forget, or sometimes people need some space. even though you guys live far apart. sometimes waiting by the phone everyday or picking it up can be tireing. give it a break for a while and see what happens next. when she moves to hawaii to be with you, you'll really know she loves you.

I am also in a LDR and have some trust issues from time to time. Honestly, I really am not sure what to tell you. I thought for a while my bf was cheating on me but the emotion he gets in his voice when he tells me certain things proves that he isn't, at least to me. If you love her you have to believe her. If you end up getting hurt in the end, you get hurt. Try calling me more often and make sure she knows she won't be bugging you because that was why I stopped calling my boy as often as I did. I was afraid I was bugging him with all the times I called him. Good luck!

if you always talk andu aint talkn much now, doesnt mean shes hiding something from you. remmeber shes really busy now, she may be really tired. if you trust her, you will believe her.dont make the same mistakes i did. its natural to feel insecure & apprehensive because you arent with each other to know what you are up to. But if she has been faithful & working towards living with you, why would she cheat? She has been with you for a year now, continue trusting her. If she breaks the trust, its her loss. Dont let your insecurity get a hold of you, you have come this far!!! Do your best:) And keep telling her you love her & shes the only one on your mind. DOnt nag her with your insecurities, she might fall out of it cause she feels you aint trusting her.

having faith comes from inside oneself...just as having faith in god...you cant see him but you believe in him.

you cannot actually believe that even if your girlfriend were to call you routinely every night that this act is consolation for you that she is being faithful to you. you have to actually tell yourself that i have faith in my girl to do the right thing. otherwise, you could go and hire a detective to follow her around all day long. people who are married and living together have to have faith every day that their spouse that comes and goes has been faithful. it is only later that one finds out that beyond their control their spouse was unfaithful. You cant dwell on the 'what if's' all the time.

one has to go about their daily business feeling secure in their partner. hopefully, their partner doesnt fail the relationship....but to continually look for signs of problems when there are none can become a hazard to the relationship also. peace
