Why do some web pages i am trying to open shut as soon as i click a link?

i was searching for some healp with my nursing studies, i tryed to open a page on yahoo that the search as found but the whole page just shut down, this happens a lot an ideas.

help that was ment to be

may depend on your browser (the program u use to see the internet) trying to stop those annoing pop-up and being overprotective.
Do you have antispyware or antipopup programs running in the background? try to switch them off.
Many browsers (like AOL, Microsoft Internet explorer 6) have those antipopup built-in. Try the Options to switch them off.

If else, try holding the SHIFT or ALT key when u click on a link, sometimes tells Anti thingie to stay put....
