Should I live at home/dorm...?

although i'm just 14 i want to be sure of my decision...when I head to college ( if I go to a university in miami)should I get an apartment(eventhough in Miami by the time im 18 will be way too expensive,if I can live with a family member and pay a resonable amount of rent,or hould I get a dorm(about how much would that be anyways?)I would work a part-time job while studying nursing..help...or should I just live with my parents till i'm 21...(which I wouldn't mind much!) Becuase I love my parents!

thanks bye!

or should I join a sorority?/

Here's what I'm doing for college. I think you should consider it too. I spent the first year in a dorm to make friends and to get the "college experience." I'm in my second year right now and am living with a few friends in an apartment close to campus. Since you live in Miami, you should probably try to find housing closer to the suburbs if you don't mind the commute since housing in the city tends to be pricey. Next year, I'm planning on living at home to save some money for medical school. I guess it all depends on how far you live from home and how comfortable you are away from the college social scene. Spend at least one year close to campus and have a little fun!

To get the full college experience I'd recommend living in the dorm. My college was only about 30 minutes from home, but I lived on-campus. It's much easier to make friends that way and you're more involved in campus life (groups, parties, events). After your first year you can always move off campus, but for at least the first year I'd live in a dorm. Dorms can also be cheaper and more convenient than an off campus apartment.

well f you want the full college experince then dorms is the way to go, and you could pay for it w/ finaid or student loans. if you want your privacy then getting your own room in an apartment would be a good idea, but it'll be expensive and you may hav 2 get a part time job. if you need someone to rely own and kinda wana live cheap then stay with a family member. living with parents till you 21..........see if you can stand em for the next 4 years and then think about it.

live at home

lol ur too young to think of this i mean r u in highskool? lolz
im 14 too besides ur decsion might change anyways dependin on time or w/e
