Nursing Students how did you or would you suggest studying for the HESI to pass the 1st write?

I do not really know how to study that comprehensively and do not know where to start. I am trying to keep my anxiety level down. Any suggestions for studying to pass this exam?

idk..sori

Don't freak out. The HESI isn't that bad. Its 110 ?s and there is a calculator you can use for the math. The highest score is 1500, you need an 850 to pass. I don't know how your program is, but we have to take it twice, once as juniors and again before we graduate. I'm a junior and our test was about half med/surg and half OB/peds/psych. Our senior test will be more equally comprehensive and include more delegation and priority questions. I don't know of anyone in my class that did any hard studying for it and the majority of us passed. I looked back over ABGs/acidosis/alkalosis and that was about it. If you have an NCLEX review book, do questions from sections you think you are weakest in or have forgotten. Your school's library or computer lab should have review books and CDs you can use too. Review notes from tests you did the worse on. If you're doing decent in school, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Good luck!
