I want to study in USA Im from UK? |
I live here in UK(16yrsold) and I'll be finishing my year 11 here in UK this year. I want to study in USA but: The very best thing you can do is to select a few American Universities or State Colleges (some of these are good for nursing) and contact their Admissions Departments. You will probably have to sit the SAT (a US standardized test), but different colleges will have different ways of dealing with foreign students (some are well set up for this others aren't). They may require you to complete certain things before you leave the UK, but they will not require you to attend High School in the US. Costs vary greatly. Feel free to contact me if you want to get into more specifics. yes they will accept you..our system goes up to grade 12..u will probably have to finish another year...i am from New York..i am attending nyc college of technology..in which we do have an Report It associates nursing program..the requirements are psychology 101..pre-calculus...english101... anatomy&physiology ..you have to get a 2.5 gpa or higher in those first four courses to be accepted into a nurising program..from there after passing those..then you start the "clinical work" Report It You have to have a certain amount of Credit and number of years for Grad. 11 years I think. It would be better you finish Pre-Degree from UK and enroll in an American University for under graduation and take a campus transfer to US. Try Schiller International University, UK Campus for more details. |
