I am preparing to take my GED test soon. Assuming that I will pass, will I be able to study Nurse?

This is my issue. I am 21 yrs old and have 2 beautiful children. I am preparing to take my GED test, but I also want to become a RN. With only my GED, is it possible to become a RN?
Can I still get financial aid if I am married with 2 children and our income is not that high? PLEASE give me your advice. I really want to do this. But its hard for me to believe that I have any hopes...Any suggestions/answers will be greatly appreciated = ) Thanks in advance!

PS: I live in MD, just in case = )

If all else fails, you could get student loans, but they are a bear to pay back. You will have to ask your school about financial aid. Junior colleges are not terribly expensive.
You can get an associate degree in nursing in two years, and do the other two years part time.
Best wishes to you.

This is the time of your life to make it or break it. If you plow through it, you WILL experience the benefits for the rest of your life.

If you want to become a nurse, you will find the way to do it, even if it means more than a GED.
