What is the reason why nursing students need to study science and technology and society? |
What is the reason why nursing students need to study science and technology and society? My daughter just got her BSRN and she never took a course called society? She did have many science, biology, physiology and technology courses- but they all applied to medical science. Sorry, she never heard of a society course unless you mean social studies and that could be a required freshman/sophomore credit for the college she is at. Nurses do just a bit more than change bedlinen these days. Science is obviously a very needed couse. Technology is also huge. At my hospital, we chart on computers and it is much easier to get this done if you know atleast the basics of using a computer-some of the older nurses have problems with this. Society is also a much needed class. It helps you to broaden your spectrum. If my Darlin you don't know the answer to your question PLEASE NEVER BECOME A NURSE...change into being a computor nerd..much safer for patients. |
