How do u study as a nursing student?

really wanna know if anatomy and physiology is as hard for u as it is for me.. i av an exam on the urinary and digestive system next friday need help with a effective strategy

Anatomy and physiology needs a great deal of understanding of the biology concepts. From my experience, pick up the key words in the passage, for they make up the most meaning in the passage. Next, write down the answers in gist in a notebook. Try to explain to yourself as how you be able to write it. Revise the question a few times, I am sure, you will be able to do it !

Of course, revise the notes relevant to urinary and digestive system that the teacher gives you, watch out for the tips he gives you. They are actually exam tips. Try to complete as much as possible of the syllabus. Achieving a grade of B and above would be great!

I wish you good luck in your urinary and digestive system exam next friday!

Ugh..those classes were tough for me. My class was separated into an anatomy lecture and lab and a physiology class(not simply one class of anatomy and physiology combined) I just finished both of those classes last semester and I got a B in Physiology (5 credit hours) and a B- in my anatomy lab (2 credits) and a B in my anatomy lecture (3 credits).

I'm not sure how your class is structured, but the BEST thing to do is prepare for the lectures/labs AHEAD of time. For instance, if you know the next lecture/lab is about the reproductive system, make sure to read about it before that lecture. Take your own notes, take notes in class from the professors lecture, and then compare the two. I actually got a C- in the anatomy lab before and had to retake it and that helped a ton.

Also, I'm not sure if you're a procrastinator or not (I AM) but do not wait until the last minute to study. Study a little bit every day and you'll remember a lot better. I did that for my cumulative final in physiology and got a B+ on it, when for the other tests I could only pull off a C+/B-.

I think if you can just review the notes as much as possible each day, you'll be okay. Also, talk to the professor and ask for some advice.

Good luck though!
