Is physiotherapy lots harder to study than nursing? Is it really that hard to get a job in physio? Physiotherapy is definitely a lot harder than nursing. In some countries it takes 5 years to become a physio. Nurses, at the most 4 years. You start your first year with subjects like anatomy, physiology, etc. just like a first year medical student. Not just lectures but exactly how a medical student would pass through his first year.By the end of your second year, you probably have taken more subjects than a second year Med student. Then you have one year of internship during the 5th year, again just like the medical studes do. Then board exams. Then you work locally or abroad. |
