I need advice on TEST TAKING SKILLS. I am a nursing student & I study so hard"really" & can't get a high grade

I AM A VERY STUDIOUS PERSON WHO STUDIES EVERY CHANCE I GET LITERALLY. IM REALLY HAVING A HARD TIME THE WAY QUESTIONS IN MY PATHOPHYSIOLOGY AND MED SURG EXAMS ARE WORDED? THEN CLASSMATES ALWAYS ASK ME TO HELP THEM, WHICH MAKES THEM UNDERSTAND BETTER. THEN THEY END UP RECIEVING A HIGHER GRADE ON THEIR EXAMS THEN I DO. I REALLY THINK MY TEST TAKING SKILLS ARE WACKED. I SEARCH EVERY WEBSITE, TRIED ALMOST EVERY STRATEGY. I JUST DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!! ANY IDEAS? DO YOU KNOW ANY NURSING STUDENTS WITH THE BEST ADVICE TO GIVE OR THE BEST WEBSITES OR STUDY GUIDES TO SEARCH FOR THAT WOULD ESPECIALLY HELP WITH THESE COARSES? WHAT AM IM DOING WRONG?

My wife is an LPN. When she was in college, she would record the notes she wanted to learn and play them back while doing other things or driving.

When you don't know the answer to a question, reread it, omitting any distractors, then use the resources your instructors have taught you: ABC's, Pt. safety, prioritizing, and Maslow's hierarchy can be useful as well. NEVER GUESS BLINDLY! Good Luck! Report It
