How to study pre nursing classes? |
This quarter i'm taking human physiology...what's the right way to study for this particular class? Usually, i go over the given outline (by my prof) and read through sections of the book. I understand the material 85% of the time but when it comes to the test...it's nothing that i studied for...or thought i understood it to be. Someone suggested to draw everything out...anymore suggestions?? PLEASE HELP! it really depends on the type of tests. some test straight from the notes and some test straight from the book. physiology is a particularly hard class to study for. need to understand the concepts not just memorize the facts. understanding the concept of say how the lungs clear the body of co2 will also help in your nursing classes (trust me). as far as studying it is really hard to tell you a right way because it depends so much on the type of test and where the instructor tends to pull his material from. maybe figure out if you are a visual learner or an audible learner. have you tried recording the lecture? or for me i write a phrase down over and over while i explain it in my head (i'm a visual learner). good luck.
