Why do people study nursing ? |
Why do people study nursing ? We nurses don't become nurses because we didn't or couldn't complete medical school. Nursing is an entirely different profession! It's a career and a calling. It's not for the money. We have more contact with patients than doctors. We can make a difference in the quality of life, not just for patients but for their families too. We become an important part of their lives. Nurses are obligate teachers -- we are in a position to educate and the ethics of our profession requires us to do so. Money Because they don't want to go to school longer to be a doc. so they settle to be a nurse. Why do people study nursing UUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMM so people like you can ask DUMB QUESTIONS. Seriously nurses didnt want to become Docotors because we have more contact with the patients than Doctors. Also nursing is the LONGEST Career around. It has been going on since the ancient greek. There was more male nurses at time during the ancient greek times. Then in Victorian ages woman that got in trouble with law prostitutes etc were sentenced to take of ILL PATIENTS. Also there is a shortage of nurse like till 2010 so its a GOOD JOB FIELD TO GOTO INTO. I knew ever since I was a little girl that I wanted to be a nurse. I like to take care of people. I like everything about nursing. I like the money too. I didn't want to be a doctor, so the person who said that was wrong. I knew what I was getting into when I went to nursing school. I think nursing is a "calling" - not everyone can handle it. But the ones who can - we'll have a special place in heaven. |
