Best way to study for nursing class? |
I'm on my second semester of my nursing program. never had a problem on my fundamentals and pharm last semester. but now that i'm taking ped/ob my grades isn't as good as before. i had a hard time taking in all these info. is there a best way to study? i need suggestions, because i'm on an accelarated program so everything was just going on too fast. when I was in a nursing class, I worked hard. I would read the chapter before the class. Make notes and record professor's lecture. I would go home and write everything from professors' lecture recording. Re-read the chapter again and make notes on the topics discussed in the class. Since this is in the studying abroad topic, you should really look into that! Bilingual nurses can make a lot more money! It would be a great opportunity. I'm trying to go to Spain my senior year in high school. When my 17 year old daughter was in a difficult class and she could not find a study group we studied the textwork each night and I quizzed her orally on it. She was very suprised when she aced each test. We continued to work side by side until she got her nursing certificate. And it paid off later. When she would want to discuss a problem she encountered I at least had a pretty clear idea of how a thing was "suppose to" be. Get a study partner even if you have to ask students you do not know. |
