Surgical/Circulating Nurse? |
whats the difference between surgical and circulating nursing??? please, which is better. The two types of nursing are circulating and scrub. Both are surgical. The surgical nurse is the nurse who scrubs in under sterile conditions and assists the surgeon. The circulation nurse doesn't scrub in, does a lot of the paperwork, and takes care of opening and handing off of sterile supplies to the surgical nurse or surgeon. The circulating nurse also takes care of anything the patient needs that isn't in the surgical field. |
