Calling all Nurses, is this a virus?

On Sat, 19th I woke up with a terrible sore throat and feeling veeerrry tired and achy. Sun I still felt pretty bad but was somewhat better. Mon thru Wed I was much better but still not 100%.

Thurs, 24th I had terrible head congestion and could barely breath at all. Fri feeling better. Sat & Sun much better but still very runny nose.

Today, Mon, 28th still slightly congested but I feel it building in my chest. I'm not coughing much at all but when I do, it hurts bad. I'm afraid that tomorrow I'm going to have a horrible cough.

So what the heck is going on? Is this a case of the amazing traveling virus going on tour thru my system? Is this seperate viruses that I coincedently have picked up right after one another? Is this some kind of bacterial infection that an antibiotic would help with? I don't want to go to the doctor just to be told it's a virus and there's nothing they can do.

Not nessarily no. Well, the nurses would like to know this stuff. I suggest you consult a nurse or docot near you and see what could be going no with you. Thats serious. You dont want to get any worse.
