I AM A RESPITORY NURSE AND I KNOW THE AFFECTS FROM MOLD AND ASBESTOS BUT I CANT SEEM TO GET ANY LEGAL ADVISE TO BREAK THIS LEASE I HAVE TWO KIDS AND ONE IS ASTHMATIC PLEASE SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME CONCRETE ADVISE .......GA NURSE

I'm not sure what the laws are in your state...but in many states, the landlord has to pay for you to be somewhere else while he makes repairs. Call your local board of realtors...they will be able to point you in the right direction as far as laws go.

I'm unsure as tu ur laws, but most civilised countries carry some sawta leagal penalty fo usage o asbestos in homes, and although no comfort when u find ur kids is dying from lung cancer, y'can sue da fcuk owtta ya landlord. The threat of this alone makes most o em pull they fingah owt they ***.

Surely there are sum law ovah da pond 'bout legal minimum standards of housing? Cos if so, i feel urs falls below such, and not only is that contract invalid, you could be due compensation, and your landlord could be prosocuted for attempting to lease a property in such a state.

Take photo's of everything.
