Worry much? Last month 13 days late. Period arrived. 6 negative hpts, still room for concern?

Last month I was supposed to get my period on the 5th, didn't get it until the 20th. I took the first response test on the 5th day missed, and again on the 6th with the morning urine. The 7th day a nurse took a urine test, and then the 10th i took the last first respone, and on the 13th i took a clear blue easy, all negative. I calmed down and the next night as i explained that happend. I was checking like a mad woman and started light bleeding that night. I was heavy with clots for a day and a half and then light bleeding for another 4 or 5 days. I was under a ton stress at the time of suspected ovulation and throughout the month (plane rides, anxiety attacks, travel, transferring..and so on). For some reason i am getting really worried again. I had a prescription for the nuva ring so i picked it up and put it in after my period stopped.Am I thinking too much into this? Is there really any possibilty that i still may be pregnant? I have no desire to be, just looking for peace of mind.

I think it is VERY unlikely that you are pregnant.

It sounds as though your irregularity is due to stress. Until your life is less stressful, don't expect your period to be on a normal cycle.

no you are not pregnant. sure there is a chance, but it is most likey stress. if the hpt are saying negative, then thats correct. remember they at 99.9% acurate, and if you took them days after the missed period, then they would be comin out correct.

After 6 tests I think it's safe to say that you are NOT pregnant. You are, however, obsessing. Knock it off! Relax and enjoy your life.

I'm very sure after all of those tests if you are actually pregnant. Stress can definately affect your menstrual cycle. Do you take a multi-vitamin ? Have you recently started smoking ? I notice that when I smoke my next cycle is very heavy and late.

all the stress you say you have PLUS the stress of worrying about being preg. can make your period irregular. where you on anything before the nuva ring? If so- than basically stop worrying and calm down! As long as you have some sort of bleeding usually it is your tegular period but slower than normal because of you being stressed out-sio just calm down and relax!Besides that 6 negativer ahpt is a VERY good sign!!Stop wasting $$ on the tests and RELAX!!!

If the first 3 were negative... 6 is slightly OCD. If you were stressed, you affect your menstruation cycles. That is very common. You are also on the Nuva Ring which works kind of like traditional BCP, but every person reacts differently to BCP. Talk to your doctor again if you need to, but you are not pregnant. Try to relax and stop stressing about it. Talking online isn't going to help you.
