How do I appoach my manager to suggest a career break? Nurses? |
I'm a nurse and work in cardiothoracic critical care and really want to go over to Australia next year and work for a couple of months. (I would probably use 4 weeks leave) I'm not really sure how to approach my manager to ask for the time off, and how to persuade her this would be a good idea for the unit etc..... any ideas? write to your manager stating your requirments don't try to offer any good points that might be to the advantage of the department,career breaks often end in the person not getting their old job back some do others don't,I don't blame you for wanting to see Austrillia, while your there why not visit New Zealand, just book the time off, that's what my mother did when she was a nurse |

Take the bus to the Subway station and ask at the kiosk which stop is closest to Bathurst and Steeles (probably Yonge Line - Steele stop) You can phone the TTC in... sounds like he's just gotten into the habit of waking up. if he isn't nursing much at night and gets enough to eat during the day, then he doesn't need you to get up and feed him. ... You need to find yourself a good travel agent to sit down and chat with. One that will sit down with you personally and talk to you about what you want to do, see and what budget you want to keep ... |
